In the recent Made in Oklahoma contest, in which each entry had to include at least two products made in Oklahoma, Leah Lyon of Ada captured first place with her main entree recipe, Black Mesa Bacon Cheeseburgers with Thunder Head Country Slaw. We are extremely pleased that Leah choose to use Pure Prairie cheese in her winning entry. Congratulations Leah!

Pure Prairie goes to the Oklahoma State Fair.

Our cheesemaker Gary Huffstutlar and Hershel Williams with the Pontotoc Technology Center, attended the Oklahoma Cheese Demonstration at the state fair this week. Dr. Steve Zeng of Langston did a cheese making demonstration while Gary and Hershel handed out samples of Pure Prairie’s products. As you can see from the long line, the free samples were a big hit.
