Pure Prairie Creamery, LLC is an artisan cheese plant located in Ada, OK.  The name Pure Prairie was chosen to represent the products we market.  Pure for wholesome and Prairie for the all natural milk used in our cheeses.  Our plant was established to support small local dairies and we are proud of the fact that all of the milk we purchase supports the sustainability of small family farms.  We are constantly looking for ways to help new dairies get started and hope that our efforts will allow a few more families the opportunity to stay on the farm.

Artisan cheese by definition is produced in small batches, by hand, using traditional production and aging techniques.  Our artisan cheeses will naturally cost more than mass produced factory cheeses, but we think you will find the benefits will prove to be well worth the additional cost. 

Those benefits include the fact that Pure Prairie’s cheeses are made from all natural goat milk and that gives Pure Prairie’s cheeses two unique qualities.  Not only will you enjoy the distinct flavors, but it is better for you than the majority of cheeses that are produced in the U.S. today.  We hope you will choose our cheeses because they taste great, but encourage you to look at our health benefits page and read our labels.
